Many alumni and friends of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State who live in Napa and Sonoma Counties enjoyed our social and dinner in January. We’d like to get the annual dinner back to a summer event. On July 15, 2009 we have planned a BBQ dinner be held at Richard’s Grove & Saralee’s Vineyard, Inc. in Windsor!

The BBQ will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of Fresno State alumni and friends from the area as well as visit with college faculty. This will also give us the opportunity to learn about some of the recent happenings at the university from Dr. Charles Boyer, dean of the college.

Also, some of our wine industry alumni and friends have suggested that we put a call out to others in the industry to bring a bottle of wine to share. We are also planning to have a silent auction since it was so successful last time we met. If you have a bottle of wine to share or an item you would like to donate, please complete the enclosed form or contact one of the committee members below. The reservations are due by July 8 so that we can properly plan.

It is with the interest and support of alumni and friends that Ag One, the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and Fresno State is able to expand the learning opportunities for the next generation.

Directions: Highway 101 north of Santa Rosa to the River Road/Calistoga exit. Head west on River Road four miles to Slusser Road, turn north. Richard's Grove & Saralee's Vineyard is located 0.7 miles on the west side. Attire is casual.
